We had an online petition running on Change.org, So far it has chalked up 4,712 signatures which is a good indication public support. However, Lincolnshire County Council has refused to accept it because it does not conform to their chosen Format.
We have a paper petition.
Having the first online petition refused we've embarked on a paper petition which is in the councils chosen format. We are now looking for volunteers to take it door to door so that we can show LCC the strength of feeling.
Another online petition is on the way.
We are now setting up another online petition, one which the council will have to accept.. Unfortunately, we have to wait to have it approved by a company that works for the council.
