This is how local people found out their town and village were being considered as a dump site for High-Level Nuclear Waste
EXCLUSIVE: BBC Radio Lincolnshire understands nuclear waste from around the country could be disposed of in Lincolnshire. The government is in talks to use the former ConocoPhillips gas terminal at Theddlethorpe, near Mablethorpe. It would be transported in and stored up to 1,000 metres below ground in solid rock. Those behind the plans insist it's safe and say other countries are exploring the same technology.
